A few words about
What We Do
Following are programs we are active at
Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)
Hope and Healing Foundation focuses on helping individuals and communities recover from trauma caused by conflict, displacement, or violence. Through counseling, community support groups, and traditional healing practices, the organization nurtures emotional recovery and long-term resilience.
Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention and Response
The foundation works to prevent gender-based violence by raising awareness, empowering women, and promoting safe and inclusive environments. Survivors receive access to psychosocial support, legal guidance, and protection services tailored to their needs.
Youth Empowerment and Education
Youth Empowerment and Education
We believe youth are the future of peace and recovery, so we invest in their mental well-being, leadership, and civic engagement. Programs offer life skills training, mentoring, and peacebuilding workshops that promote confidence and responsibility.
Community Rebuilding and Social Cohesion
The foundation facilitates inter-community dialogue and collaborative healing to rebuild trust among conflict-affected groups. Arts, storytelling, and cultural events are used to foster empathy, mutual understanding, and collective hope for peaceful coexistence.
Capacity Building and Local Partnerships
We train community-based workers, educators, and health professionals in mental health, trauma recovery, and conflict sensitivity. Strong partnerships with local NGOs, religious leaders, and institutions ensure sustainable, culturally appropriate interventions.
Emergency Response & Crisis Recovery
In times of crisis, the foundation provides immediate psychological first aid, emotional care, and stabilization support to affected populations. Services are integrated with emergency aid and help communities begin the path toward healing and reintegration.
